There are tons of considerations that come to mind when choosing between a new or a used RV. You have to decide what’s best for you, your needs, and your budget.
We chose to buy new because RV’s, (unlike homes) come with furniture and we were concerned about fabric smells.
That being said, some say that used RV’s are better because the “bugs” have been fixed. Another reason why people tend to choose used RV’s over new ones is because the first owner of an RV takes on the brunt of the depreciation! Remember that RV’s are depreciating assets. Unlike homes, their values decline over time!
No matter whether you decide to buy a new RV or a used RV, make sure you take your time, do your research, and consider getting an RV inspection!
